Paper Bird’s Album Release Party!
On March 22 we are thrilled to be celebrating the release of our new record “Rooms” at the Orienteal Theater! We will be joined by our current tour partners He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister as well as one of our local favorites Chimney Choir! If you haven’t already, get your tickets and come party with us! We will have the album for sale there and will be playing most, if not all, the songs off the record. It’s going to be an incredible night and we would love to have you join us.

Hello lovely Kickstarter family!
We are so excited to be writing you this update! We have been very busy since the end of our campaign and can’t wait to share the fruits of our labor with you. We want to give you a little inside look at what we’ve been up to, but also inform you when you will be receiving your rewards!
So, we did it! We spent a week straight at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver (a 96-hour week!) losing our minds and recording these songs the best we could. The lovely Ryan Fritch flew out from his cozy studio in Petaluma, CA and produced the album, which was more help then we could ever have imagined. We put our all into this recording process and it shows! We could not be happier with how it’s sounding.
Now the tracks are out in California being mixed by the esteemed Jon Burnside. Unfortunately, because of some early technological delays, this process has taken a bit longer than we had hoped. But, we are close! We are finishing the final drafts of the mixing now then they will be mastered and sent out for duplication – both CD’s and vinyl!
That being said, we are unable to hold up to our Kickstarter incentive of getting you, our faithful pledgers, the album in a physical form in February. But, what we will do is send you a secret code to download the album digitally weeks before the actual release. Once we have received the physical product, we will get them to you as fast as we can. We apologize for the delay, but we promise the wait is well worth it.
For the pledgers who are waiting to receive rewards that involve more than merch (music lessons, artwork, a date, guest list spots, etc) we will be contacting you shortly on how to redeem your reward.

We’ve been busy these last couple weeks rehearsing and performing our ballet in collaboration with Ballet Nouveau Colorado (Wonderbound) but during this time we also have some exciting news we wanted to share with you.
Our new album “Rooms” is due to be unleashed on March 22 in Denver at the Oriental Theater! Find out more about this show and get your tickets on our Shows Page. The album is being mixed now and it’s sounding absolutely amazing!! We have never been this excited to share our songs with you all, which brings me to the next exciting update:
WE ARE RELEASING THE SINGLE “AS I AM” FROM OUR NEW ALBUM “ROOMS ON FEB. 19TH, 2013! The single will be shortly followed by a music video, which we are shooting this next week – so get ready!!
Also on Feb 19th we are leaving on our first tour this year, heading south with our friends He’s My Brother, She’s My Sister! You can find the details on that tour in our Shows Page.

We’ve been working hard this week, in the studio - everyday from 10 to 10 – working on this new album and . . . IT SOUNDS AMAZING! We’ve been working with some of the best sound engineers around and our wonderful producer Ryan Fritch, who has helped us create the best album we’ve made yet! We can’t wait to share it with you all!! We will keep you updated on the progress of the album, but expect a single/music video in the coming months! Thanks for the support everyone!!
Hello everyone!
We are so thrilled about the amount of support we have received on this campaign! We have reached our goal with a week left!!! But the more money we raise, the more we can do with this album!
We have some exciting news for all of you who have donated . . . we have pushed the official release of our album back to March 26, 2013, but those who have pre-ordered the album through Kickstarter will receive it almost a month in advance!! We can’t express how much we appreciate your support, but we figure giving this community access to our album first is a start.
We’ve been busy writing, and finally have all the songs put together. We have studio time booked at Might Fine Productions in Denver from Dec. 14-21, then will spend the rest of the month mixing. Watch out for a single and music video early next year. We can’t wait to get these songs to you all! Best music we’ve made yet!

Hey everyone! We’ve just launched the our KICKSTARTER Campaign for our upcoming album “Rooms!” This winter we will be recording our fourth full length album “Rooms” at Mighty Fine Productions in Denver, CO. We truly believe this album will profile our adapted sound, giving you the best music we have written in the six years we’ve been a band. We’ve gone through a lot of changes since the release of our last album and feel as if this album will be our debut.
We cannot wait to release this collection of songs on February 19th!
Hello friends, family and fans! Welcome to our new site. We are happy you have visited and want to give you an update on what we are up to this winter. Right now we are in the midst of writing the songs for our new album, “Rooms”, which will be released February 19.
Following the release of “Rooms” we will depart on a series of national tours through out the Spring and Summer in support of the album (dates to come soon)! Also, stay tuned for info on a series of encore performances of our acclaimed ballet, Carry On in February!
